Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ScribeFiles collects and why.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password.
• Your files and transcripts: stored so you can play, edit and export them.
• Billing data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

Only to provide the service: transcribing your files, showing your transcripts, and managing your subscription. We don't sell your data and we don't use your files to train AI models.

Processors

Depending on configuration, audio may be transcribed on our own servers or by a speech-to-text provider acting on our behalf. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Retention and deletion

You can delete any transcript, or your whole account, at any time. Deleted files are removed from our storage.
